Yes, this definitley needs to happen. That area south of the river or “south of fifth avenue: “SOFA” district really needs to be activated. Flagler Village has been kicking South of the River butt for years!
Oko Group and Cain International have received $97.2 million in financing for a 34-story luxury apartment tower called One River at 629 Southeast 5th Ave. in downtown Fort Lauderdale. The project will feature 251 units ranging from studios to three bedrooms, along with two levels of underground parking.
It will also offer residents access to a resort-like rooftop pool deck and over 12,000 square feet of amenity spaces, including a state-ofthe-art fitness center with yoga, spinning and pilates rooms, a spa, outdoor fitness deck, BBQ terrace, media room and lounge area, and a private kitchen dining room. Amenities will be available 24/7 via an app.
